Why I Love This Stock

The biggest individual issue in the portfolio is EnerNoc (ENOC), an alternative-energy provider that offers excess capacity to utilities and other network-grid operators. It's one of the handful of names in the portfolio that isn't yet profitable. EnerNoc lost $1.88 a share in 2008, and is going to lose 82 cents a share this year, according to O'Halloran, who has about 8% of the portfolio in alternative energy. "But they are going to make money next year, so we can see a path to profitability," he says. Shares of EnerNoc climbed from less than $8 a share in January of 2009 to above $30 earlier this month.

EnerNOC (ENOC) is a virtual utility. Utilities pay it to make deals with big power consumers to cut usage at peak-demand times, as when the temperature hits 100. The utility pays EnerNOC, which pays the consumers. The utility can afford this, because it doesn't have to go off the grid to buy power during a crisis at what can be 15 times normal prices. EnerNoc's market cap is $184 million, and Robinson expects it to lose $1.07 a share in 2009.

Cramer sees EnerNoc (ENOC) as a speculative energy conservation play. Cramer said this one is a buy, adding the company's energy conservation efforts are perfect suited for the upcoming election cycle.

The Company is a developer and provider of clean and intelligent, power solutions. Both ENOC and COMV offered there IPO around the same time. After studing the bio's of all top management I feel there is a race to capture the comtrol of all grid activity in the US and around the world.
