Cramer likes Cisco Systems (CSCO) as a play on this, but there are some smaller tech specs that may work as well.

We know the companies have war chests. Cisco (CSCO) has raised a lot of money, NetApp (NTAP) has raised money. EMC (EMC) has raised money. The last two are in a bidding war for Data Domain (DDUP) that seems to be incapable of producing a loser, as all of the stocks involved have been in the move.

Brocade's (BRCD) sneaking up here, and I have always thought that the Cisco (CSCO) competitor would make a nice fit with Hewlett-Packard (HPQ).

His clients are "understandably concerned" about the financial future, but Eric Fischman, portfolio manager of MFS Growth Fund (MFEGX), with $1.7 billion in assets, says he believes "the huge downside is out of the way." While he isn't expecting high growth ahead, he is focusing on companies with the capacity for growing earnings. His strategy is to identify "long-term winners based on industry growth." His favorites include Google (GOOG) and Cisco Systems (CSCO), because the Internet will continue to grow, as will demand for bandwidth, he says.

Cisco is one of my favorite companies and one of my least favorite stocks. Cisco contnues their complete dominance over the industry however shareholders are not rewarded through large gains or dividends. Their tremendous buyback does not seem to reduce the float significantly. I have owned Cisco for about a year and a half and every bit of news that I have seen has been good however it is not reflected in the stocks performance
