Love the product and technology

They have good technology in developing high quality bright LEDs. They have expanded into lighting systems utilizing their LEDs as the main lighting source.

Cree, Inc., a market-leading innovator of lighting-class LEDs, LED lighting retrofit solutions, and semiconductor solutions for backlighting, wireless and power applications, recently announced that the company is authorized to repurchase up to 5,000,000 shares. The company has repurchased 1,567,500 shares during the current quarter.

LED'S BIG OR NOT?

Held and tracked this stock for several years. Have come to the conclusion that they are several years from beginning to realize the potential of the diode lighting market. Meanwhile they are beset on all sides with competitors and in a price squeeze. A good company which I will revisit in a couple of years.
