Why I Love This Stock

By:Stockpickr Staff

Date:02 25 09

The Visitor tells the story of what happens after a young couple's illegal sublet is interrupted when its actual owner, played by Best Actor nominee Richard Jenkins, comes to "visit." If you ever find yourself short on beds, you might consider getting a room at a Marriott (MAR) hotel or perhaps Choice Hotels' (CHH) Econo Lodge. Marriott closed down 19 cents, or 1.3%, at $14.32, while Choice Hotels was up 2 cents to $24.92.

Why I Hate This Stock

By:Barrons

Date:07 07 07

From Barron's 7-9-07:

"But not all hotels are created equal, as road warriors well know. Franchises mining the lower price points -- like Choice Hotels (CHH), with its Comfort Inns and Econo Lodges -- and those with a heavy domestic or suburban footprint could see growth slow well before their big, geographically expansive counterparts with strategic toeholds in crowded meccas.

wouldn't it be smarter to dig for more
