The SRM Global Master hedge fund cut its stake to 14.2 million shares (2.44%) from the 47.2 million (8.13%) it reported owning in mid-April. SRM Global has criticized Bank of America's (BAC) planned acquisition of Countrywide as not in Countrywide shareholders' best interests.

Lost me a ton of loot

A sacrifice of growth over integrity. Country Wide will be lucky to survive the fallout of its poor lending practices and business strategies. The company is suffering, it's investors are suffering, and confidence in the market is suffering. When big, seemingly untouchable companies fall apart right before our eyes the whole world shudders with fear and forbearing.

They did so much to contribute to the mortgage problems with ads stating no closing costs, no appraisal cost, etc. Someone has to pay somewhere along the line and the time is here.

It should be delisted ASAP.
