Altus is a biotech with a lot to offer. They have figured out how to crytalize proteins so they can be more easily assimilated in the body. Proteins are large molecules. Most of the new biologics drugs are proteins. Monoclonal antibodies for instance. Proteins are hormones, antibodies, enzymes neurotranmitters, cell regulation molecules of all kinds, etc. One of their biggest issues is getting them into the body where you want them. Small molecule drugs, like most older drugs, don't have this problem. So Altus Pharma is onto something that could be big.
