Agco (AG) was upgraded from Neutral to Outperform at Credit Suisse. $72 price target. Due to increasing commonality across platforms, components, parts and sourcing form lower cost countries AG is in a strong position for margin expansion.

Goldman Sachs said it is upgrading Agco (AG) to Buy from Neutral based on continuing strength in Agricultural industry and recent underperformance in stock. Note AG's potential to rebound sharply and lack of exposure to weak construction equipment markets. Price target at $71.

First-quarter 2008 earnings per share climbed 142%, to 63 cents -- well ahead of our and First Call estimate, 47 cents, on a 34% increase in revenue to $1.8 billion. Organic revenue growth was 21%. Full-year EPS guidance is raised to [range of] $3 to $3.15, from previous $2.75 to $3, and revenue growth [goes to] 20% to 22%, up from 11% to 13%...We're raising our '08 [estimated] EPS to $3.43 from $3.38, due to 1Q08 beat, but also lowering [second-half] estimates by 10 cents to reflect lowered margin expectation. Target: 64. Market cap: $6.2 billion.
