I have never admitted to being a fan of anyone, but the source of the ideas that led to my portfolio are hard to deny. Most will probably recognize the source without my actually having to admit it.None the less, thanks to Jim for being who he is.
The portfolio name might be misleading, unless you read the bio. There are 14 Salukis to keep fed in the house... and no, it's not a basketball team.
6/23/07-Though tempted this week to add to the positions in NYX and SHLD (what a sale those two are having), diversity won out in the end. Thus, the best of breed financial has been added. GS had a sale too.
7/21/07- That call was just plain wrong. SHLD & GS are down even more. Luckily, GS was exited with minimal pain. The sooner you admit a mistake, the better. The power of the rumor can't be fought.
6/15/08- Been quite a while since i was here and our stocks are now up to date. These are my warped idea of somewhere to ride out the storm with the addition of some dividend payers.
