There is some good advice. I suggest that you look at some of the tips and ask specific
questions.

Playing in The Contests with fake money is a good idea to start.

If you invest on a online brokerage, they have great Tools,Graphs and some just require
$500 to open.

You may want to consider ETFs.

I know what you mean. I started out in 2003 with $1,000. My crokerage account assets are
now $9,000. Take no one's advice. At first buy only New York Exchange Stocks with a
price-earnings ratio of 10-to-1 or less and stock that pay some dividend. Concentrate in
only one industry that is on the rise, preferably number one. Watch the websites every
day. This will get you a safe 10% a year which will double your portfolio every ten
years. When your brokerage account assets start rising study one idea that is a little
more complicated and a little more risky. I am sure you can do better than that the
broker. Some brokers are good at placing orders and providing research information that
you can not find on the website. That is their job and they may be good at it but for
some unknown reason brokers do not know how to pick winning stocks.

Hi all my stockpickr fiends. I have had a company running my stock ( Roth ). After 6 years
of putting into this and watching it drop time and time again , with not so much as a
returned phone call from my so called stock broker. I have closed this and I am starting
on my own. I've read all I could about buying and selling but it's always best to ask the
people in the trenches. So here is my question. After pulling out of this last mess I find
myself with a measly 6000.00 to reinvest. Obviously I need to get very aggressive as I am
54 now. What suggestions would you give to help me start getting the most out of stock
purchases ? Where would be a good place to start building this up ? Any suggestions .
Thanks Aqua
