Just had to abort that C short in a hurry... and I had a 1.25 or so move on it :( but I
still ended with a tiny/micro gain on it.... better then a poke in the eye?

something to think about... if oil stays up...the spot market rate for oil shippers is
gonna stay up and depending if oil breaks into 120's in next quarter the spot rate should
go higher. plus we'll probably get slaughtered in everything else dependant on oil prices.
and all them shippers stuck with fixed rates will suffer til contract expires.

why you short GM? because of oil and I'm assuming weak consumer demand? or was it
something else?

Oil is up to 108 and Gold was up $ 15 today... ??

AA came out with some bad # but the futures only are lower 6 on the S+P right now...

I keep shaking my head... a new range is forming IMO. It was 11650 to 12650. Now I think
the new bottome is 12400... but we haven't formed a top yet obviously. If we break below
12400, it goes to 12600 again...

I declare after the bell we get our reminder of what a shitty market this is and we have a
very good down week, even if we end today up.

but for real... reasons to go up (temporary): Ben, Paulson, Warren, & other whales besides
Warren...
maybe Carlie Gasparino can pump it with some inside direct blah blah blah information
