Ouch... right now for the last two days (sun night and Monday night):

Nikkei: -8%
Hang Seng: -12%

We may be looking at over 1000 pts....

Even with a early rate cut..the shorts will be shorting on strength. There is not enough
blood in the streets yet. Watch for the VIX to hit 30...then there will be fear..until
then the bears get their little bit of heaven.
20% correction is in the works. And if you really think about it, what will this rate cut
do? The mistake was made when the FED didn't stop raising in time. That mistake will
take a long time to fix. I'm still staying with long the FXY

Dude, I really hate to tell anyone this...but it maybe to late to short sell or just
sell(ratecut) it maybe to early to buy(no ratecut).I am sleeping in then going to work and
then the day after I will try to figure things out.

A surprise rate cut is just that... who knows when it would come. Overseas are down
another 2% today for total of 7-10% in 2 days... Uglyyyyyyyy indeed....

So who's going to try to catch a falling knife....

IF they cut tomorrow, would it not be done in the morning before the markets open? Or does
this typcically come out during intraday trading, like the Fed meetings with their
traditional cuts?

I heard a technical analyst on CNBC saying we would go to 11500 on the dow before heading
back up to for a 800 point rally. anybody else tend to agree? With as ugly as the other
world markets are going we are going to need that substansive rate cut tomorrow to turns
things up.
