I disagree with that 5-year plan earnings visibility with FSLR. From my perspective,
FSLR's P/E and forward P/E is reflecting the faact that the market expects them to shoot
the lights out and they better

CRamer FOCUSED ON FSLR during his show last night.VISIBILITy on earnings....fslr..."GREAT
VISIBILITY CAN GIVE YOU GREAT PICTURE OF WHAT IT WILL BE EARNING IN 2012.'
one great advantage is you dont lose analyst support, is what he said. VISIBILTY AND
KNOWING WHAT THEY WILL EARN helps analysts from panicking. When market is flooded with
uncertainty, the stocks with best uncertaninty are likely to recover first. You know what,
I do not think SOLARS are worth it..sorry JIM1
Of course, stock shot up prehours.
I bought several times from his ranting, MOT, APA, MHS, nothing, but losses.
He talked about five year plans, i care about today plan. So this stock will shoot up and
up cuz of five year plan and earnings? This solar has made his viewers rich, up 370
percent since he recommended it first, and second, etc. fslr DECLINED yesterday 20 points.
FSRR uses different technology. Big bottleneck for rest of solars. The others use silicon,
FSLR can do without it. I think its overvalued.

andrew, have to disagree with you about solar, I think it stays around. As for FSLR,
definitely overvalued. I have some skin in solar with WFR which makes wafers fro both
solar panels and semi-conductors (org. a semi wafer company and more than half its sales
still come from the semi side). WFR's major advantage is that it produces its own
polysilicon and the spot prices for that are nuts right now. Timminco, which is a canadian
company also produces polysilicon, among other materials. You could also take a look at
PBW which is an alt. energy ETF. Lots of the solar names like FSLR, WFR, STP are major
components.

I have been watching FSLR....it LOVES the Bear Market in the DOW..it's Best Gains are made
during that time. When the DOW goes UP...FSLR most times goes Down For the day...Check it
out ;-)

FSLR is whatever you want it to be. I personally think it's a joke just like solar panels
are a joke, just like Al Gore is a disgusting joke. It's all a guessing game as to when
it's going to tank just like Baidu.

If you are afraid to buy then don't, never force anything. Just because they are flyin
right now doesnt mean you buy them, or even the fact that Jim has it as a buy. Yes they
are hot and overvalued. I wouldn't short them. But maybe watch them in the next two
weeks, if you comfortable with your research and believe in them then dip your toe with
buying the common and protecting with a put. Otherwise go safe and buy CY or WFR a lot
less risk plays. Or you could buy CY and protect it with a put on STP.

You are silly to think we have the answers to what a stock should be at. A range? Maybe.
Valued with earnings over the last 12 months? Ya it's about 15-20 times overvalued.
Valued using future earnings? It might be a fair price in 5-10 years... depends on YOUR
research how well adjusted the company is and how well or not well they will grow the
company and earnings... note keyword earnings, not just a revenue pig without profit

I have been reading blogs and almost crying. SOme are saying big boys are running up
stocks only to sell and burn us. ALL solars, especially FSLR is so high its piggish. Yet
Jim says to buy.
He says that they wont be buying until New Year , but I thought they'd buy more to "show"
their customers what they hold, and such everyone so hyped about FSLR and JASO etc, I
thought they may buy more. I am afraid to buy; what about shorting these? And according to
its growth and earnings, what SHOULD FSLR BE AT?
