This stock confuses me. Maybe because its a EURO story instead of an American story. Just
a guess.

I do think steel is gonna look good soon as the market turns.....I just read about "Steel
and Cement Industries Hit by Housing Slump Could Benefit From Future Bridge Repair Work"
There were 122.5 million metric tons of cement consumed in 2005, a number expected to
drop to 116.5 million this year, before surging to 128.9 million in 2010.

A good stock is the CX

Here is the news that I got it from
http://biz.yahoo.com/ap/070803/bridges_new_contracts.html?.v=1

"Talks about Bridges that would need to be repaired could see demand improve the next
couple of years in the wake of the deadly collapse of Minnesota's Interstate 35W bridge".

Cramer has given me some great ideas; however NYX is not one of them. JC was wrong, wrong,
wrong on this one. I was relieved when I finally sold this loser and my portfolio shot up
as soon this anchor disappeared. Someone said %u201Clong term%u201D why ride this dog when
you could be in CME or tech. When a company in the stock trading business can%u2019t
succeed during record breaking volumes, it%u2019s time to get out!

what about S&P's BUY rating going down from $104 Price target to $90, do you guys think
that is accurate?

why is the stock still trading like crap? it's got everything going for it? when can we
see it start going up? in a month?

Hey I didn't answer your question. Starting a position in the mid 70's is good but don't
spend all your cash right here. I think there is a good chance it will dip into the high
60's. -Mondo

NYX has great fundamentals and the CEO is a very sharp guy. The management makes good
choices but is denied this by the media for some reason. In the short term the stock
trades like crap but as a long term play it should do very well. -Mondo

I think it is safe to own this stock around $75 cost basis. But, I think this is a
transitory time for the company and investors are waiting for the announcement of New York
Stock exchange merging with the Nymex. Thain did say on the conference call that the
company will "continue to look opportunities for consolidation"

papo - Exactly...any monkey can be trained to do! Who needs experience? Secure knowledge
and insight? Just hire an MBA to head the group and get it "on schedule". Investing in IT
is a close corollary to investing in infrastructure: America doesn't and won't. No matter
how many bridges collapse...

Take a look at the options activity for August -- defending $75! It's about time somebody
took a stand here...
