Speculative Sound Off!

It's funny.......reason Walmarts done so well is because of unions. Ever see the prices at
a union run store. If they still have any left.

BUGCHECK - can't post to thread more than 10 times. . .

Unions are dead or on their way to death. They are not needed today. What a waste of the
laborer's money. Too many other ways to help workers. Unions help to send work to other
countries. Unions, ugh.

Anyone pick up STAR today? or been thinking about it?

Unions won't have a problem finding people........America has plenty of lazy, whiny
people.

mondo they are looking to clean out retail longs before the party so wait or find a stock
with a better honesty factor. The company who knows the product I think may be fantastic,
but to buy the stock is like sleeping with the devil and he will rob you blind.

BeverlyJoy, love your posters, sure adds color...........gin

To answer Mondo's original question, I've been looking into Steve Smith's spec play and I
think it could get a pop. He outlined on thestreet.com TV yesterday, TLAB trading at
around 11 bucks. He talked about a speculative play on TLAB September 12.5 calls, trading
then for 30 cents wehn the volatility was lower and now today for 50 per contract. You
could also go long the stock as a spec play. Earnings in July just before OE.

FWIW, there was a decent amount of call option volume yesterday:
