I read the same articles but the view from the street has a bleaker outlook.Maybe everyone
has to move to find the right job.I have some close friends coming to the end of the 99
week odyssey.Most are very nervous and losing hope daily.

I read there are 3.5 million postions open in the US. Apparently they are looking for
folks with special skills/ degrees etc. That is sad if your profession dries up and it's
all you have done for 20+ years. Not sure what the answer is to that. Not easy at all
to train and get new skills that others do not have.

I met a woman laid off after 19 years on the job.Even confused about how to start up an
Unemployment claim.Sad.
