I am long GE with a significant position! I am upset at how GE executives have conducted
themselves during this crisis. The question I pose is... Should Immelt go? Is Immelt the
leader GE needs. I wish I could say yes but sadly it is almost impossible to give Jeffrey
a passing mark. The evening before Buffett bought $5B of GE preferreds @10% with options,
Immelt was on CNBC telling the public that GE did not need to raise capital. Is it
possible that the CEO of GE did not know that the next day GE would sell Buffett a $5B
preferred position? If he didn't know then he should be fired for simply not knowing what
was going on at GE and that a $5B transaction was about to take place! If he did know then
he needs to go to jail for misleading the public about issue's material to GE's valuation.
Many people bought GE on Immelt's CNBC statement that the dividend was safe and that
additional capital was not needed. There is a class action lawsuit pending. Should Immelt
go?

This article throws around some scenarios that could result from Vivendi unloading the
remaing 20% of NBC/Universal not owned by GE. Any thoughts/guesses on how this may affect
GE?

GE has partnered with Geron (GERN) to develop stem cell research for cancer treatments.
The announcement of this alliance pushed up shares of GERN which got hit badly with the
recent stock dip. This alliance bodes well for the future for both companies.

okay....you want to fix pickr...here's what i need all of you to do.
first: go to your individual portfolio on pickr.
second: select a stock.
third: select related blogs.
4th: if no blogs have been started next to the stocks name you'll see blogs, create a
blog.
please allow comments so we can separate individual topics per individual stocks. don't
blog about something not related to the stocks topic.
we can fix pickr if we try!
