Not too unlike the CNBC contest, eh?
It's Rebecca Smith, "a 50-year-old housewife from New Port Richey, Fla.", a novice
investor.

Zed if you did not cheat and had the highest portfolio then you should be declared the
winner. Is your success in the first and the second contest related to stock picking
skills or finding loopholes in the system ( cheating ) . If you feel that it is truly
your stock picking skills then why do you play this game. Your efforts would be much more
valuable elsewhere.

funny stuff i think what's most important here to remember what's the intentions are of
all the parties involved.
Zed i'm probably not alone in appreciation of your decision to show yourself back on this
forum but we both know what your primary strategy was in both games, loopholes. You can
hardly fault TSCM for not wanting to award your unsportsmanlike conduct.
News i understand your frustration but assuming for the sake of conversation that Cramer
and company aren't dishonest, why don't you just try to put your self in their shoes for
just one second. they wanted people to play and learn how to trade with out risking real
capital. they have given a lot more away in the process then just the cash. i and i'm sure
many others have learned a lot about how the market works because of this game you seem to
hate so much.
fogal if you do the risk reward analysis on that theory of yours you might not be so
interested especially if you put yourself in cramers position.

"can anybody get an answer fron the street about why they hide,..."
Thinking like the TSCM legal dept...contests are very tightly regulated by law, any idea
of how many of these laws were potentially broken in the admin of this contest?!? I'd
run and hide too.
BTW, thinking a little sinister here and not accusing anyone of anything...I'm thinking of
putting up a web site myself and promoting a stock picking contest to drive a ton of
traffic to it so I can sell a bunch of advertising but I'll do it with a novel twist.
I'm going to preselect the winner (that is the "fix" will be in so I don't actually have
to part with the cash) I'll make sure that the site will be unavailable at times so
players can't be competative and I'll be dqi'ing people who start running away with the
lead. On second thought, never mind it would never work, how would I ever find players
naive enough to fall for that. Hmmm....

can anybody get an answer fron the street about why they hide, run from, scared,
terrified, cowardly, surrender from promoting or talking about the game? Are they so
embarassed about their softeare programming of players attempting to play their game they
hide like little girls from the bogeyman (players) to inform us about the game? This is a
primer on HOW NOT to run a contest and they must be pee peeing their little pants in
answering players repeated request for info and promo news. They are humiliating defeatist
sissies for not talking about the game like their big brother cnbc. Its like we are
dealing with surrender cowards in responding to our obvious complaints because of a lack
of info. Cramer should do like hes doing and run away like a litlle girl who had her dolly
stolen on the playgroud and run home to mommy and not say a word while his reputation is
destroyed. I am losing a lot of respect for cramer since this is his company. pitiful!!!!

I do not think there will be a third round. If there is, wonder if they will let me play.
It is all very interesting. They do not promote the game and have not accused me of
cheating--which I have not, not that most of you believe me. I do believe I ended with a
higher portfolio value than Rebecca did...Seems to me if I followed the rules and ended
with the highest portfolio value...

Hi all, new to the forum, feeling a little masochistic today, anyone know when the next
round begins?
