Looks like I nailed BA on that exhastion gap. It took a nasty turn after that - very few
gaps go unfilled.

Peter, Did you notice a few days ago I was doing analysis on a few of the names you listed
in my diary...total fun doing it during a slow trading day. I actually use a lot of T/A
now, but yeah fibo is my fav but not sole tool. But, of course I am going thru cc's all
the time too cuz at the heart I am a Fundie....using the fishing metaphore..your style is
like a great fisherman knowing what they are fishing for...I am more like a Marine
Biologist that is so fasinated by the whole process that I am watching and studying
everything..but being a Member of the Class of 2007 Stockpickr I am still pretty new so I
have a lot to catch up on compared to season traders...I love to see the mosiac that this
market creates with everything bouncing off of another...I read that "to understand this
market is to truly understand man"...don't know if it is true, but it is so interesting.
My style..bottoms up, top down, technical, news, kitchen sink....btw did you see my post
by the rail fax guy? scary

Hello Petrushka,
On May 24, 2008 you sent me a bullish stock scan:
volume => 40k, EPS last 4 quarters +15% YOY or more, within 5% of 30 day high, above 40
and 200 dma, 5-day volume surge, with price percent change today of 0.5% or greater
Given this market environment, have you changed this scan?

you're welcome, Susanne. We all have our "favorites" within our styles. I typically only
look at small and micro caps with attractive charts that have earnings to reinforce the
move. I don't even want to consider a stock unless it has consistent earnings growth,
ideally 20% over the course of 4 quarters. These stocks often have spectacular moves,
sometimes against you though.
And I think it's okay not to use TA within your method; if the method you use works,
that's all that counts.
I feel if I am using both, using elements within TA and within FA, I am decreasing my
risk, and increasing the chance the stock will move in my favor.

Peter thank you for my "good q" props...it really is interesting how so many pros don't
even follow the t/a's..well, actually my Fibs...which are my total favs.
