Chart looks like a bear flag to me. Most of my stocks have ugly charts too.

Notice that the price hike occurring in august is due to operational cost increases for
the company. Hence the reason i could see a decline in the stocks value but not by that
much.

Notes on Quarter from 10-Q-
1. Great pricing power with gas business
2. ability to pass on costs to consumers
3. weakening of the U.S dollar is favorable for the company
4. High volume of sales of gas has been great for the company
5. I agree with the company here- Merchant Gases volumes should improve driven by new
applications and improved loading. The business will continue to implement pricing
increases to recover higher costs.
6. Tonnage Gases should benefit from new plants brought on-stream.
7.im mixed on this expectation- In Electronics and Performance Materials, results should
continue to improve from higher volumes and the benefits of product rationalization
efforts.
8. agree- Equipment and Energy results are expected to be lower from a decrease in LNG
activity and higher energy development spending and maintenance outages.

Options Activity- Put/Call activity split

Earnings Chart Activity-
1. 4/23- Stock drops 6 dollars

Decision- This is a tricky one. I think the demand for gases has been strong. I think the
price increase shows this. But i think raw inputs have definitely put stresses for the
company. I'd have to go with the AUG 100 CALL. You may have to wait for it to rise but
dont worry i doubt this guy will fall much from earnings even if it does.
