Major foreign markets were sharply lower on the trading session with the major U.S.
indices taunting negative territory throughout the trading day but, maintained positive
territory into the early afternoon trading session. As the trading session moved into the
final hour of trading, the DOW was successful at posting a triple digit gain.(read more)
