Cash. Bill

life cycle cost analysis, $/btu, I believe coal wins hands down (in the good ole US of A),
oil in the Gulf, and hydroelectric has to be up there in Niagara... gravity is pretty
cheap and reliable.

1) firewood (your sweat equity) 2)light sweet oil

same with solar. inconsistent energy source. also, using silicon in solar panels is
WRONG. ATROCITY! silicon IS NOT the right material to capture sunlight. Silicon is an
indirect bandgap semiconductor...its like trying to capture water with a fishnet...most of
the water just falls through. FSLR's CdTe technology is direct bandgap.. liek an actual
bucket that can hold the water. I'm just not sure FSLR has developed the technology
enough yet. Again...we ahve decades of experiecne with oil tech...just not enough time
with Solar and wind yet...

from a systems engineering standpoint, Wind and Solar are scams. Technology just isn't
there to make these feasible. Wind's "input costs" may be the cheapest...but we are far
from having developed specific wind tech like how we have developed specific oil and coal
tech. In particular, wind does not generate consistent energy while our use of energy is
quite consistent It's like going back into the dark ages...depending on the weather for
our welfare.

Hot air. It comes free with every politician, Bill

you can't say wind cost nothing...they aren't getting them wind generators manufactured
and shipped for free., plus they need to be maintenanced.

ah yes grasshoper, but wind costs nothing. then who could charge for wind if it is
free......maybe thats whywe cant put a windmill in my back yard in chicago, the windy
city. hehehe...chris
