As someone who is 24 I think you are being a little harsh on the guy. What is the point
of saving money if it is at the cost of not enjoying your life?
It's not just about saving money to have a better quality of life later, but having a good
quality of life right now too.
Personally I live my life how I want to and whatever is left over at the end of the month
I save. It just happens that I have enough left over most of the time and I put it in my
IRA or savings account.
I guess that I may be just young and stupid too.
Is it worth it to be miserable when you are young to live a little better when you are
retired? Isn't the point to be financially stable/happy the whole way through, not just
at the end?

Anderdw, i have not liked your attitude at all and in fact i think it is detrimental to
our learning environment. I have reported you to the authorities just so you know. You
are not using this site apporpriately. I asked a legitimate question and you come on now
several times and have made snide comments about me. These direct attacks you are giving
me help NOTHING. So if you want to think you know it all, go somewhere else. I'm sick of
this nonsense you are giving me. Steve Goff and I were having a nice chat. LEAVE ME

Rishiman you asked him a question about a stock and you didn't specify...for a 10 year
investment that is a great stock and you are proving nothing by disagreeing with him. If
you are talking about day trading please say so...if not please shut your mouth about
things that you do not know about unless you are trying to learn.
