Description:

2011 is drawing to a close. While both professionals and do-it-yourself investors try to prognosticate the year to come, as I will do so next week, come the end of the year we always find many surprises both good and bad. Thus, I want to take a look at the some of the 5 biggest positive and negative surprises of 2011. Some of these I was able to capitalize on, some bit me in the backside and others just totally escaped me. So here are some High 5s and Low 5s for 2011
