"The Fed officials and raging bull commentators who all say in unison "the economy is fundamentally sound" should recognize they are speaking about just the export economy."

Cramer said he is still willing to do tech "because it is so heavily skewed to exporting."

Also, "The vast -- and incorrect -- perception is that nothing works in this period, that everything goes down and that it would be good just to be plain old short, not even net short. I have always believed that something is always working, and I define working as going up on good days and not going down as hard on bad days. That's what I think about tech, particularly strong-balance-sheet tech. The names that jump immediately to mind are:
