Description:
May 28 was the snapshot that Russell uses. Today they are looking at the 13,000 stocks from the largest to smallest. First they are going to kick out all stocks under a Dollar or OTC. Second all companies outside of the USA are out. Then they take the top 4000 stocks and call them the Russell 3000 E Index..top 1000 is the Russell 1000..then the 3000 left make up the Russell 2000 (yeah, doesn't make sense). The guess is that they are looking for Caps of $165- 2B...big difference from last year of 261M-2.5B. Guess is 307-312 new companies to be added. These could be some.
