He reviews 1000-2000 charts a night, and says his favorite pattern is cup with handle where the breakout is after a very positive earnings announcement. he said that his big movers had earnings growth of 150-400%...
Since he went from 11,000 to 18 million in 18months, and then quickly to 40 million a couple years later, he has dropped the low float requirement to his search.
I started this portfolio to open discussion about low float stocks because starting topics on the forum confuses me as it seems to ask for "feedback"
He often uses full leverage trading the maximum amount on margin.
Note:while Dan Zanger prefers to be fully leveraged, he sets his stop loss usually only a small percentage below his initial trade. He prefers to be in AFTER earnings news, so he won't gap down quickly before he stops out. Although it appears to be balls out "no risk management" it is, because he manages his risk by the way he trades, and by his quick stops.
his last interview said aapl he bought at 85 and stopped out at 128, but he will likely

Earnings isn't quite the 70% but since the move on volume looks great, the current recent earnings per share is accelerating, and it's still strong earnings from that of a year ago (52%), and it looks like it's soon to break out of the base it is finishing forming.

Here's some potential Dan Zanger picks... I started this to open a discussion more so then to post the portfolio. Anyone have a place where they can screen for low float stocks, or quickly check the float on stocks by ticker?
