The requirement is that the stocks/companies be situated with great management to further develop markets in Asia, Europe, South America, Australia as well as have a strong and fashionable image.
I will post the relevant info - growth rates, p/e's, etc this week. This is my homework area for now ndw and any advice/suggestions way welcome.
Some names have been suggested and as soon as they get narrowed down to one or two in each category, I'll post them.
Ryan4891 posted BBD, ITU, CHI, SHRGY, UN, UL, MBT to my question on fave international bank off the top of his head.
Other good responses were RIO, PBR, CIB,NBG,HDB and BAP.
(CHI bears very serious consideration for the most incredible-is-it-possible dividend:
The highest yielding convertible fund is the Calamos Convertible Opportunities & Income Fund (CHI), which generates a yield of 11.3%. It invests in convertible bonds and non-convertible bonds of investment grade and non-investment grade. The fund has paid its dividends monthly since August 2002.

NOT Mr. Arnault's favorite competitor. Well. The list is long and strong - Gucci, Balenciaga (my fave those nice black motorcycle bags), Bottega Veneta and on and on. Very, very, powerful.
