AAPL
Apple Inc. - $203.25
- +0.13%
- $204.63
Apple - Besides the outstanding fundamentals incl. 0 debt, just look around you... Apple is making GIGANTIC in-roads in the entertainment industry - virtually every facet - along with increasing market share in the computer market - this is my "cornerstone longterm investment stock"... for the forseeable future.

RIG
Transocean Ltd - $89.83
- +1.50%
- $89.55
Transocean Inc - even though the merger was a bit of a rip-off in the short term, it actually allowed me to take a little off the table and wait out 12/07. RIG is now positioned to make us all a bunch of money! Another long term investment stock.

-
POT
Potash Cp Saskatc - $101.72
- +2.12%
- $100.78
Potash rules their sector of the Fertilizer industry. As long as people need to eat, POT will be growing... or is it the other way around? Yeah, the ticker cracked me up, owning this stock has me laughing all the way to the bank. Takeover rumors?? isn't POT getting a little pricey in this credit environment? if there is one in the works, BHP.. just a total guess/hunch..

ACM
Aecom Technology - $25.47
- 0.00%
- $N/A
Aecom - Infrastructure - You just watch, Jim Cramer!! They do alot of acquisitions, but they all make sense. A global player, just brought fmr. cabinet member Mineta onto the board, strong in the world markets where it counts.

-
JWN
Nordstrom Inc - $34.86
- -1.83%
- $35.46
Retail - In full disclosure... er... The wife gets an employee discount on JWN, currently in the mid 30's, that's a damn good deal! I know Cramer and others advise not owning stock where you work, we're being very conservative about the amount we buy, we'll stop buying as it inevitably rises... once again tho - even with a "R" possibly on the horizon - JWN at these levels is good long term.
