Portfolio that is fairly conservative but slowly changing to one that generates additional retirement income. Currently trying to position our portfolio that will weather a large down swing in the market that I expect during the coming election year and first 2 years of the next administration.

Expect a strong growth in the market for the next 10 months and looking for a short-term above average increase in value.

The recent merger with their major competitor and the increasing support from the government in education

One of the only power companies that can design and build a nuclear power plant within the US. To lower our dependency on foreign oil will necessitate the use of clean nuclear power in the future.

Looking at long term gains due to the expectations that the Democats will win the next election and they are keyed to large support to health care - especially for the lower 50 percent of income families in the US

Teco Energy Inc - $14.75

- $14.62
My pick for a long-term energy company that has shown good growth but is still a lower costs stock.
