AAPL
Apple Inc. - $204.44
- -0.70%
- $205.21
The top of the heap! The savviest hi-tech company out there! Everyone is chasing iphone, itunes, and ipod. Which leads to Apple having i-popping profits! They're sitting on over 28 billion in cash! I think they'll be around for awhile. How can you not own it?!

NYX
Nyse Euronext - $25.88

- $25.96
Modernizing the stock market through computerization. When the market turns around, so will this stock.

Visa Inc. - $80.62

What can I say - credit cards. Everybody has em and uses em. And when the economy comes back this stock will crank!

-
CROX
Crocs - $5.25
- -2.42%
- $5.30
OOPS! I bought, sold and then foolishly kept some. If the company can re-invent itself while leveraging it's brand name, well...maybe it can put together a come back, but...probably not.

-
BUCY
Bucyrus Internati - $51.68
- -1.03%
- $52.35
Mining equipment - when the economy comes back so will Bucyrus. When China starts up again, so will this stock. At under 6 times earnings it's a good deal.

ETFC
E*trade Financial - $1.61

Yes, they hopped aboard the sub-prime express mess. And yes, that is largely responsible for this stock's annihilation, but they claim 1000 new accounts a day!! That's 365 thousand new accounts a year! If even 50% of those people are active traders, then this stock can keep afloat, as they try to unload those nasty loans.

-
RIMM
Research In Motio - $59.53
- -0.78%
- $59.86
Another tech bell-weather. At the center of the mobile computing revolution. Which, by the way, is just beginning! They're sitting on a pile of money and keep producing new product. A good buy on pullbacks.

-
GS
Goldman Sachs Grp - $171.13
- -0.51%
- $171.64
The savviest banking/investing? company out there. Well, the world is changing so fast that nobody's precisely sure how GS is structured at the moment. But after their last quarterly report, and the fact that they're going to be giving Obama and Co. the boot- (paying back TARP). It's a good bet GS comes out on top. A great buy on pullbacks!
