POZN
Pozen - $6.51
- +6.20%

Although Trexima, thier most developed product, has recieved an "Aprovable letter" in summer 2007, Pozen has resubmitted the application with the additional information requested by the FDA. In addition, they voluntarily executed a genotoxicity study just in case the FDA asks for it in the future. Trexima will be approved in early 2008 by the FDA and it will be a first line med for doctors treating Migraines. It combines sumatriptan with a basic NSAID, thus eliminating the need for multiple meds. GSK has partnered with POZN on Trexima. POZN has also recieved payments for Astrazeneca for its PN100 and PN200 drugs (currently in phase 3 trials). The PN lines combine tradiitional NSAIDS with PPI pump inhibitors so that the pain meds can be taken for long periods of time without the development of gastric ulcers, etc. Stock was beaten down over the summer after the approvable letter, making it very cheap. There's a large short float on POZN and it appears that some are already starting to cover their short position.

Q3 earnings were great and the stock takes a 20% dive? Paypal is worth a lot, and its growth is impressive. Skype is a sloth and most of the reason why EBAY has be pounded. But I think paypal alone should have this trading at a much higher multiple.
