UAVs/UASs are the crack of the military. Throw in wind and power management (quick battery chargers) as a longer term alt energy play. Small defense companies with high demand products, services, and knowledge get bought out often in the defense space, too.

Much for the same reason as AVAV. High demand defense products. Small company with good financials. Growth and possible acquisition.

We may figure out how to live without oil, but it's less likely we'll figure out how to live without agriculture. MON is more innovative than the routine fertilizer commodity plays.

With the new Post-9/11 GI Bill passed, thousands of current and former military personnel will have large amounts of money to put towards their education. STRA is a convenient choice and stands to gain from the money as it begins to roll in starting August 2009. Also, STRA has had increases in enrollment as employment dipped over the last couple of quarters.
