This stock has been making a killing not only on the Div end but also stock value. If you hang on and re-invest the Div in 5 years you will be set. They invest in Long term contracts to limit volitility and are involved in a market that we all know is growing expecially overseas.

Another transport stock with great fundamentals and good ballance sheet and have invested heavily in the futrre with more ships on the way. long term hold I think 2009 will be a big yeart for this company. simply collect the Div till then and re-invest and you should come out way ahead.

Probably one of my favorite picks. with the market in housing going down and retail rental pricing holding steady this is a good pick. As the lending rate increase you will only see this company's profits sore as they will be able to take less risk on the lending end and get better returns the fact that an investment company of this type has been making money over the last year say's a lot. The Div is great and stock has room to move. their Div's are going up while most are cutting back which indicates strong fundamentals in a rocky market.

After being beat down by the housing slump and the sub prime market crashing this is a good risk around $9 and has room to move. Div is not bad and the question is how far down can the housing market go? Eventually the market will switch at least for investment companies and the revenue will shoot up as the return on investments will be more concreate with higher requirements for lenders to give out money. less loss on defaults mean more gains on stock price and business concrates will be more stable as the fly by night companies dissapear along with the cheep money.

Canidian Power is a consistant payoff. As energy demands continue to increase and the US puts harasher regulations on enviroments emmissions we will likely turn to our neibors for more powere as time passes. This company will not make you ritch in the next few months but if the monthly Div are put back in this stock it will grow like the weeds in your yard. 10,000 investment up front will return a $100 a month and has for a long time. putting that additional $100-150 back into the stock every month you will see the true benifit of compunding.
