If there is a company I believe in and regularly beat analysts on. Apple Computer is it. I started buying the stock in the early 1990's and most people laughed at me for quite some time but I've had the last laugh. Talk to Apple consumers and you will find brand loyalty that other brands envy. I have done very, very very well with Apple and their long term outlook remains strong.

Another company I have been buying for a while. Good management team and just talk to their user base and you can take this stock to the bank. I love their products and people that use them no they are the best company doing mobile email. Ever heard someone not like their products? Nope.

Oil, Oil Oil. Got to have part of your portfolio in oil.

I just like this company and their technology. I have been buying since it dropped below $10 and believe this company is a long term buy. Someone will take a run at acquring Sourcefire.

DEFENSE INDUSTRY. Whether we stay in Iraq or head home the hundreds of billions of dollars going in to Defense will continue long after Curious George Bush leaves office.

I purchased this stock earlier in the year after doing research on the company. Done very well with this stock. They are hot on the JAK2 Kinese trail and seem to be on the forefront. If they make a breakthough with their JAK2 Trials \on this stock could jump to $15 a share. And become a take over target. High Risk.

Very good bank under valued low risk to current market problems.

BAE Systems is another good Defense Industry stock. They recently acquired Armour, makers of the specialized heavy duty body armour and ballistic protection for vehicles. BAE Systems is making all the right moves.
