It's speculative. But I think Ford is turning it around.

Good management and track record. Lots of expansion in developing (overseas) markets.

Banks are getting hit right now because of the credit crisis and the sub prime mess. There are some good bank stocks that have had their prices depressed beyond where they should be. CBC has an interesting program of backing the establishment of small local banks while holding a substantial percentage of the stock. This has been a good money maker for them. Also their dividend which is currently around 5% per share limits potential downsides.

What Cramer would call a best of breed in Tech stocks.

If the merger with Sirius goes through this one could be big. If it doesn't the potential downsides are probably limited. All the same this stock is being held in consideration of the merger. If that fails I will probably dump it.
