My First Portfolio Ever!!!

-
ROSE
Rosetta Resources - $14.04
- -4.42%
- $14.77
With the decline of gas reserves, drillers become all the more important to the major gas companies, especially independent drillers. The company is heavily overweight due to the acquisition of all of Calpine's oil at very cheap prices. Company also has a very clean balance sheet. 33% growth over the last year as well.

-
INCY
Incyte Corporatio - $7.88
- +3.55%
- $7.69
Inycte Corporation is a very nice speculative stock, and referred to by Jim Cramer as a "wack-a-mole" company. (This refers to their having in development drugs for 5 different markets). They are developing drugs for HIV, diabetes, inflammation, and tumors. They are also developing an oncology drug. All they have to do is hit one of those drugs to skyrocket.

-
BRCD
Brocade Communica - $9.25
- +0.33%
- $9.29
BRCD is another great looking speculative stock. Brocade is a data storage services company and they do compete with companies like Cisco. However, they just signed a big business deal yesterday, I believe. The only thing that makes this stock speculative is its competition with Cisco. However, over the past 4Q's this stock has been growing at nice, steady rate. It did take out its top competitor McData, and is becoming very ambitious. Tech is also very hot right now.

-
Q
Qwest Comm Intl I - $3.82
- +0.79%
- $3.82
Qwest is a very interesting stock. It's another speculative stock (and my last speculative stock). Has been upgraded over the past 5 months. They also have a new CEO who is much better than the last one. (The old one is in court at the moment). Another important thing is its being a potential target acquistion by the bigger phone companies including AT&T and Sprint Nextel. I'm just looking for a quick buck with this one.

-
GRA
Grace W R Co New - $24.03
- +0.04%
- $24.28
WR Grace & Co. is very, very, very hot right now. They have grown substantially over the past year, and have an outstanding P/E rate of 109.37. They are in a little bit of debt, but there earnings have grown more and every quarter over the past year. Another steadily growing company which is very important.

-
ADP
Automatic Data Pr - $43.39
- +0.60%
- $43.32
Automatic Data Processing, Inc., is one of the best dividend producing companies over the last 25 years. Is referred to by S&P as an aristocratic stock. Has 12% to 13% revenue growth per year. Also does $750 million in buybacks. GIGANTIC BUYBACK!
