Just a mixture of stocks that hopefully will put a little distance between me and poverty.

JADE
Lj International - $3.34
- 0.00%
- $N/A
Chinese stock in the jewelry business. Me thinks the numbers are super and growth both in China and in the US is impressive. Also, I like the fact they only have 18 million shares outstanding. It does not take an act of God to move the market on this one.

-
HERO
Hercules Offshore - $5.57
- -2.28%
- $5.69
A little Texas offshore driller that is about to get kinda big with the acquistion of Todco (THE). They are much about Natgas which should be more and more important in the future.

-
DYN
Dynegy Inc Cl A N - $2.08
- +1.46%
- $2.05
An electric and natgas company out of Houston. The are consumating a big acquisition the end of this month. This buy makes them a real player in thier industry and also has private equity buyout written all over it.

-
ICAD
Icad Inc. - $1.59
- 0.00%
- $N/A
I know, I know, it's a little medicial company without a superior balance sheet. What it does have is a fantastic product which is in high demand. Analysists are finally taking a peek at it and the first rated it a strong buy. With the earth tilted just right this one could go to twenty.

-
DGSE
Dgse Companies In - $1.6201
- 0.00%
- $N/A
This one is a bit off the wall, but hey, so am I. A jewerly/rare coin/loan dealer out of Dallas. Kind of sounds like a pawn shop doesn't it. Just watch this one and if it jumps, it might be worth putting in a few high risk dollars.

-
TSM
Taiwan Semicond A - $10.45
- +4.29%
- $10.20
The semiconductors are going to come back and these guys know semi's. They are also expanding thier tecknology into other areas and me thinks 2007 could be a stellar year. I guess you could call it, " a real close to China New Year". Excuse my puns, I know they are bad.
