I take the IBD 200 and find the best timing rating based on vector vest. I only take those with a 1.6 TIMING rating or higher where 0 is the worst 1 is neutral 2 is the best
I also listed the "VST" (best combination of value-safty-timing)
I suggest that you decrease the amount of money invested into these individual stocks so that you can invest in MORE of them, as the average expected return of these are high, and you are looking to catch the "homerun stock"
Also as these are generally "boom or bust" stocks, you'll want to set a 10% stop or less... Generally these stocks will not pull back too far unless they lose momentum completely, so you can take away a large portion of the risk by only setting a 3-5% and if you sell out quickly, enter another one and try again.
Despite having 40 stocks that passed the screen last time (and the only other time) from 3/26/07-5/07/07 this method still had about an 11% return with a high winrate
Note:as of 5/8 I have checked all of the IBD 200 EXCEPT the bottom 31 which I will complete soon. With 31 yet to be checked, there are 35 that currently pass the screeen

batter up, looks like this one will knock a few out of the park yet again (as it did last time, check my timing the IBD 200 for the results from last time)
Some people contacted me saying they wanted a way to narrow down the search. One good way is to find stocks that are up 2% or more in a day on greater volume then the day before.... then the following day you can buy
In case you're curious before the screen I was (and still am) long in SPAR, PCU, and SYNL...
after posting the screen I bought ACH and DXPE... I tend to buy these at smaller amounts so I can own more than a few without having too large amount of my portfolio in these. I'll cut losses very quickly on these stocks where as my value stocks I am more willing to own fewer value stocks, buy larger amounts and add to my position as it falls.
