this kind of started as a joke, but looking back on it, it make sense and is a good longer term portfolio if you want to do your homework on these.
some say united states of america is an anagram(mix the letters around but use all of them) for "dine out, taste a mac, fries"
it's also an anagram for
"I eat a fat-consumers' diet."
and
"Fat dominates. Cauterise!"
"US fatties, on a cream diet!"
"Fat-arses dominate, cutie!"
"Meat, fat, no rice: USA's diet."
these anagrams are ample proof that america was destined from the getco to be fat.
Here's a few ways to play fat america

-
BWLD
Buffalo Wild Wing - $42.56
- +0.61%
- $42.23
I went there the other day and saw a bunch of fat people chugging beer and scarfing wings...

-
MCD
Mcdonalds Cp - $62.28
- -0.57%
- $62.49
mcdonalds... kids grow up young learning the american diet. wasn't there a documentary about someone getting supersized? mcdonalds owns lots of real estate.... what's the connection? The bigger people get the less room there will be for everyone else... as a result, higher real estate prices and rent will as well

-
CMG
Chipotle Mex Gril - $89.88
- +1.84%
- $88.17
I love this business, very simple, but a very good system... They take the mcdonald method "don't build the better burger, build the better system." those huge burritos are a fatmans dream.

-
UNH
Unitedhealth Grou - $28.97
- -0.55%
- $29.00
fat people are unhealthy... (also a Berkshire hathaway holding?)

-
SYK
Stryker Cp - $48.81
- +0.70%
- $48.45
I don't think that hip bone can support all that fat... strker makes hip bone replacements or something.

-
WTW
Weight Watchers I - $27.49
- -0.04%
- $27.66
eventually they're going to have to do something about the fat... just like when a stocks overbought it finds a way to come down... america can't stay obese forever, at least some people are going to do something about it... a "hedge" against the fatties

-
NTRI
Nutrisystem Inc - $22.09
- -1.12%
- $22.33
another hedge against fatties

-
GOOG
Google Inc. - $566.76
- +0.76%
- $563.39
fat people spend too much time in front of the computer which means there's a huge market of potential clients for the "weight loss advertisers"... fat people are probably going to surft the net... (I mean, come on, what else would fat people do, excersize?) alternatives: (aapl, msft, yhoo, ibm,)
