This is play money. Ok its not, but I don't mind losing it. With that said my biggest cash goes where I think it is less volatile. I want some spec names in a major way, I think smallcap is the way to play the rest of the year (though CNBC says the opposite)

I suspect japanese market will outperform the dow to years end.

With all these millionares around the world, and currency becoming more volatile, I think we'll see a big flight to gold later this year as the US continues to decline. I'm a bit scared alchemists will come a long and turn soda cans into gold, but what the hell, I'll take that risk.

because I've let my money sit in their bank and they've been making a killing on me (I estimate they've earned 50k on my money YTD). So, I figured that I'd be wiser to put my money in their stock. Then I learned about Warren Buffet's share in the company, which boosted my confidence as I'm a novice investor. It's volatile and hasn't performed well long-term, I'm just gonna ride it up a few points, and I'm fairly confident up is the way its headed next.

Boeing Co - $51.35
- +3.36%
- $50.01
I use sites like Expedia to book flights and I actually avoid airbus flights. The last few plane crashes that I recall were airbus. I like boeing planes, I'll put my life in one anytime with confidence, so why not my money?

GE
Gen Electric Co - $15.85
- +3.39%
- $15.70
I live near Universal City and being in the music biz you can't escape Universal. Then there's NBC, which you also can't escape on TV. Then theres my GE stove which is really well-designed. Pretty lousy reasons perhaps, but so far this one's been doing OK. Just feels like a secure investment to me.

Intel, come on. I really hate the Pentium4 denormal issues (I program computers from time to time) but thats long in the past. I don't expect anyone will be able to play catch-up. AMD is hurting, Intel's going to 80. You heard it here first... I think....

CSUN
China Sunergy Co. - $3.78
- 0.00%
- $N/A
I did a little net searching for Chinese Solar stocks and found this one. With no clue I threw a couple thousand on it and made a quick 12%. Got to love that. Wish I threw a couple hundred thousand on it.... but by no means now.. I will unload this one if it retracts even a couple %

At&t Inc. - $26.34

I thought that it'd surge with the iphone. Obviously theres a lot more issues and inverstors seem a bit wary of telcos. I expect this to change 2008 and meanwhile I'm loading up on ATT. I expect they'll be around in 500 years.
