Conglomerate. Popular pick among popular money magazines. Supplier to Boeing. Seems like they're winning lots of new contracts from what I can tell on Google Finance News. Tied to Aerospace/Defense and not directly tied to consumer spending. OTIS elevators are world's most popular. DJIA stock.

Free money on this one. Fed interest rate cuts are free money for banks and will see more business from consumers in addition. Long term play if need be; I'm thinking it's free money after 1-5 years. Phase 1, low P/E around 9, more Fed rate cut(s) to come, big banks with some broker/dealers.

EMC
E M C Cp - $16.73
- -0.48%
- $16.70
Growing Internet demands growing need for storage. Owns 80% of VMWare. Cramer said this type of thing usually doesn't make it into the price for 6 months. EMC said they don't plan on offering more of VMWare for sale. I'm a little down on the stock now but I think it'll come around.
