DOV
Dover Cp - $41.64
- +0.31%
- $41.70
For the last two quarters acquisitions made the earnings growth less than analysts expectations. DOV has stated in its conference calls that they expected the acquisitions to reduce earnings in these two quarters and that things would pick up in the 2nd and 3rd quarters of the year. DOV states in their conference calls they made the acquisitions in sectors they understand so they can achieve their goal of 15% year over year growth. My short term target for no more than 2 weeks past Q2 earnings report is $55

FWLT
Foster Wheeler Ag - $31.40
- +0.54%
- $31.49
Even if the last two quarters of growth flatline, I'm still targeting this one at 120.

BPL
Buckeye Partners - $52.27
- -0.83%
- $52.76
BPL owns oil pipelines, and were recently in the news as being the target of the foiled terrorist attacks http://kutv.com/topstories/local_story_153191247.html. This is a dividend play with a growth potential upside. The dividend yield is over 6%, which is certainly better than the 10 year treasury bond. They've also made acquisitions that could potentially lead to further earnings growth. So for me: dividend or stock price appreciation, win-win.

GME
Gamestop Corp - $25.60
- +1.27%
- $25.36
Video games are hot and GameStop continues to grow its business. Nintendo's Wii and DS systems continue to be in "Short supply" even though the supply of both is better than the competition's offerings. That being said, all consoles and games are selling well and GameStop is continuously driving customers to their stores with exclusive pre-order offers for hot titles such as Halo 3. I'm targeting this one at 40.

SNDA
Shanda Interactiv - $50.15
- +3.00%
- $49.25
This is a Video game company in China. MMORPGs (massively-multiplayer online role playing games) have been very popular in the US (World of Warcraft for example). China is just beginning to grow. Everyone knows males are more likely to play these types of video games, and China has a large supply of adolescent males. As China continues to grow, more and more will have internet access and the ability to play these MMORPGs that Shanda offers. I'm targeting this one at 35.

SQNM
Sequenom - $3.85
- -12.90%
- $3.97
This is my pride and joy speculative play. This company makes gene sequencing machines, and boasts the ability to sequence more with less material. 44% year over year growth! There are significant risks with this play: it only has a 200mil market cap. It has extreme volatility. I first purchased it at $3.50 after eyeing it for some time. They then had a secondary offering that was supposed to raise them $20mil. The secondary offering drove the stock price up, not down. This stock does not have a lot of attention most days. I have sold most of my shares now, because it went past $5 a share, and without any significant growth expectations changing, I felt that was not going to hold with the usually low volume trading. It's back down to 4.60 and if it drops below 4 I'll pick up more.
