I am opportunistic. I play stocks who's management has something that attracts me, or has a product or service that makes sense to me.

I like the management style of these guys. They are in the catagory of a "Baby Berkshire". I think you need to look at holding these guys for a long time, and I think they will be big. Their pick of the Aussie Fortescue is looking brilliant. A little DD on the principals will give you an idea of the quality of talent they bring to the business.

These are the TV guide guys. I think they are undervalued at this level (4. 20 as I write this) and have a good risk reward ratio. Not a whole lot of competition for them in the print space and great name recognition.

Comcast. As a "Triple Play" of Phone, Cable, and High speed internet. They have been taking hits over the last few trading sessions and I like the value at this level. (I am buying under 27).

These guys make Blood analysis equipment for the Human and veterinary markets. I like their management, and the fact that they maintained earnings in the face of losing their primary veterinary product distributer last year. Recent regulatory rulings in their favor allowing additional tests to be added to their machines are an earnings plus for the next few quarters.

This is the Winn Dixie supermarket group. I bought in at 15.86 when I found the Lukadia guys had a big position. They came out of Chapter 11 (I believe it was ch. 11 but check to be sure) last year and have been moving up nicely. They pulled back from 18.20 to 17.75 in the last few days, I am not as sanguine as I was at 16 but I think the Risk reward is positive and it's still a buy.

I like the big Brokers and this is the biggest. They have been real good to me since I bought in in July of '06. They have taken a big hit over the last few weeks and are a real bargain at the current levels. I am a buyer under 85. I think the risk reward here is as good as you're gonna find.

More corn equals better margins for ADM. I like the options trading on this as an indicator the smart money is looking at upside for the next 6-12 months.

One of their big competitors stopped OTC production last week and that's a $184mm (TTM) vacuum that they can fill. Some recent organization changes may be a downside risk short term. Recent breakouts through longterm resistance against the direction of the market make me think a good day for the broad markets may give PRGO a nice tail wind.
