My stocks are focused on future growth, in sectors with lots of head room. I think of how things will be 5 years from now and buy companies who will be dominant players 5 years in the future.

MO
Altria Group Inc - $19.07
- +1.06%
- $18.88
Spin off of Phillip Morris International. International cigarette use is growing, particularly in Islamic countries, especially in Arab and former Soviet countries near Iran. Since Muslims cannot drink booze (forbidden in Koran), cigarette smoking is one vice they enjoy. Marlboro is a popular brand...

IXG
Ishares Global Fi - $47.81
- 0.00%
- $N/A
Diversified international financial stock ETF. Financial stocks is not my forte so I prefer to bet on a whole sector, particularly one that is global. Other similar ETFs are focused on financials in the US only which is not good to me.

-
CHL
China Mobile Limi - $47.88
- -0.17%
- $47.63
Telecom growth. China still has much headroom left for cellular phone use growth. CHL is best of the telecoms in China. I generally like Telecom and CHL is the best one so far but am willing to look at other Telecom rivals in other areas. AMX, MBT, TEL are the other choices.

-
RIG
Transocean Ltd - $88.50
- +0.40%
- $87.99
Transocean... Many new oil and natural gas reserves are at the ocean bottom. Transocean is the best off shore rig company. There are much headroom in the offshore rig industry, much oil and natural gas to be found offshore. Diamond Offshore is another alternative but I am looking at RIG for now.

-
APA
Apache Cp - $100.54
- -0.28%
- $100.61
Oil and Natural Gas company. Apache is particularly good at finding new oil and natural gas field to exploit. Apache is also good at squeezing the last drop from old oilfields which is a skill that will come in handy as Peak Oil occurs and it is left up to Apache to squeeze the last drops of oil from dold oilfields.

GOOG
Google Inc. - $566.76
- +0.76%
- $563.39
Google... Google is an ad company. Not a pure search engine company though search engine technology is very important to Google's bottom line because it helps to narrow down the ad serving focus. Google is moving into mobile phones with their Android program. What Google is trying to do is to set up an entirely new infrastructure where they can add more advertising to. Mobile Phone advertising is where the next wave of money is coming and its clear that Google is aware of this. My money is on Google because of this.

HMC
Honda Motor Co Ad - $31.81
- -0.59%
- $31.48
Honda Motor Company is a great company. More than Toyota, Honda are a highly focused automaker, focused on pouring much R&D on each model, making that model the most fuel efficient one as compared to competitors' offerings. Honda has the most fuel efficient line up in the US and this probably will keep up for a long time. Honda is deeply involved in Fuel Cells, Diesels, Solar power, and small jet airplanes. I think of the world 5 years later and looking at Honda, its clear to me that Honda has the same thoughts as me.
