Winslow Green Growth Fund is an open-end fund incorporated in the USA. The Fund's objective is capital appreciation through environmentally responsible investing.
From Barron's 6-18-07:
"Jack Robinson founded Winslow Management in 1983 to seek out stocks that met his criteria for both environmental responsibility and growth potential, and found that he "really didn't have to sacrifice earnings at all.""
Robinson looks for small-cap growth stocks that offer either a product or service that benefits the environment, or is at least environmentally conscious.
"They don't necessarily have a green product or service, but they are not part of the problem," Robinson says."
SmartMoney had a recent article which mentioned Winslow: "These Funds Do Good".
As of May 2009, the fund was up in five out of the last six calendar years.

FTEK
Fuel Tech - $10.82
- +0.65%
- $10.50
From Barron's 6-18-07: "One of our largest holdings is a company called Fuel Tech (ticker: FTEK). It is a company that is in the coal-cleaning and energy-efficiency business. Fuel Tech has a company called Fuel Chem that optimizes the burning of the coal in the stack, so they don't have something that is called slag buildup on their burners. That would ultimately force a shutdown for cleaning, which is both very expensive and time consuming. It is a company with a run rate of about $100 million, but it has at least a $1 billion opportunity in New York, to say nothing of what it will be able to do in China."

WFMI
Whole Foods Marke - $28.25
- +4.24%
- $27.01
From Barron's 6-18-07: "When we first bought Whole Foods Market (WFMI), [a top holding] the market cap was under $100 million; today it is $5 billion. It has graduated from a micro-cap to a small-cap to a mid-cap, so that's a good story. Now that we are in the small-cap category, we are sticking to the space because if we were to drift out of it into the mid-cap category, we would lose our Morningstar rating and, frankly, we don't want to do that."

This looks like a silly fund, as in I would never risk my hard earned cash on it.
