Vanguard 500 Index Fund is an open-end fund incorporated in the USA. The Fund's objective is to track the performance of the Standard & Poor's 500 Index, which is dominated by the stocks of large U.S. companies. The Fund invests substantially all of its assets in the stocks that make up the Index.
