Value/Event Driven specifically in the microcap space. Typically there is an activist fund as a shareholder who is catalyst attempting to force management into enhancing shareholder value. Many of the companies in the portfolio trade a low price to BV, and have a high percentage of cash to debt. Most are trading at deep discounts to what they could be acquired for by a strategic or financial buyer.
