My strategy
I dive into the dumpsters to look for undervalued stocks. By being extremely picky, I sit on cash unless a stock is attractive enough to warrant a buy.

Alternative investment strategies are also employed, such as mergers & acquisitions, spin-offs, restructuring, bankruptcy, and other event-related special situations investing.

I also buy call/put options to enhance returns if I am fairly certain about the time frame and the price target.

Walmart, the world's largest retailer and a Buffett-type growth stock (think Coca-cola, Gillette etc.) is trading at an all-time low PE of 18.5 today. The forward PE of 14.6 looks even more attractive. A discounted cash flow analysis shows that the company is worth between $65-70 in today's value. This is not taking into account of the announcement made on June 1, mentioned in the next paragraph. The value of the company would be a bit higher if we calculate with the new information. The stock has recently moved up 4% after the Annual Shareholders meeting on June 1, where the company announced new strategies and the buying back of their own shares. Then on June 4, four analysts upgraded the stock pushing the price up another 4%. Wal-Mart is simply a tremendous business selling at a discount; it has been an underperformer for the past 5 years and it has several catalysts in place to move the price up dramatically before the end of 2007. Underperformance • Consumer services sector 5-year 7.58% vs S&P 500 36% • 4th worst 5-year performer out of 12 industries • Wal-Mart underperformed the consumer services sector 5-year return of -2.71% is 4th worst Catalysts • Change of CEO (Lee Scott) • Re-accelerating economy • First-to-market of $100 PC summer 2007 • Growth in internet pick up program • Increases in sale store sales

Price/cash flow = 5.4 Jet Blue's stock will perform like West Jet, which is its little cousin in Canada. Currently in a turnaround mode that's nearing the end. Short interest at 27% of float makes this a short squeeze candidate.

Look tweeker I'm not going to apologize for something I don't do, I pump and dump nothing, I own everything listed here and unlike you I don't go around trying to discredit people. I honestly have more important things to do.

RE: Do you not have better things to do than refreshing the browser 30,000 times to generate that view count?

I absolutely hate the practice of touting about winners. It's a practice of spammers. See their track records here: http://www.spamstocktracker.com/

Show humility Ariel. Or the market will humiliate you.
...and be thankful nobody has called you a pump and dump'er yet.

I enjoyed reading your analysis of HDL on your blog. Are you going to put up a long-only portfolio on Stockpickr? I'd be interested to see the stocks that you are long.

Took 6 short positions prior to China's engineered drop, which happened on Tuesday Feb. 27, 2007. Added 4 more short positions today with the expectation that there will be a second wave of sell-off action for reasons below.

"On Feb. 26, China's State Council launched a new "special task force" that accurately could be referred to as the "get-those-idiots-to-stop-borrowing-to-gamble-on-the-stock-exchanges" team. Its express goal is to get the Chinese domestic security brokers to lay off such speculative decision-making, while also putting a crimp in the source of the subsidized capital. "
