These picks are the 39 current (11/18/2007) value plays at MrStockQuickie.com. Don't expect this portfolio to show a positive return anytime soon, there is almost certainly more downside to most of these equities. Many of them represent companies that have been hurt badly by the downturn in the housing market and the poisonous CDO product that was born from it. Some of them have very tough times ahead and if they pull through they will be big winners. Because of this, the portfolio is noticeably overweighted in financials and insurers. This portfolio is just an example of holding historically good companies during a bad time in their existence, it is not properly diversified, but there are certainly some gems here.
