I have developed a proprietary methodology for stock selections which I applied to the 300 stock portfolio holdings of the Vanguard FTSE social index fund (VFTSX), which is the only mutual fund owned by the Obamas. The initial screen of 40 stocks was further analyzed using what I refer to as a "freakonomic" approach and the result is my list "top 10 socially responsible stock portfolio."
